ENVIRONMENT: At the rate the Arctic is melting, we cannot afford to continue to allow cruise ships to plow through this fragile ecosystem. The pollution released into the water damages the ecosystem and the emissions it spews into the air accelerate climate change and the Arctic’s melting. 

Indigenous communities in the Arctic rely on the ocean and wildlife for their way of life. Cruise companies are threatening that way of life by damaging the environment and the animals on which Indigenous people depend.
