ASSANGE: On Feb. 21 and 22, the UK High Court will hear an appeal on behalf of Julian Assange, to prevent the British government's plan to extradite Julian Assange to the U.S.  The U.S. will almost certainly imprison him.  Just as Daniel Ellsberg was a hero to us for decades, so Julian Assange should be honored as a journalist who exposed the crimes of Empire, not imprisoned.
